‘Networking’ can be a dreaded word. With so many different groups, commitments & cost, it can be a minefield for choice. If questioning whether networking is for you, ask yourself whether you’re looking for new clients, people to spread the word about you and new, fresh ideas? If the answer is yes – you should look at networking.
Whether you only supply locally, or worldwide, ask people for their recommendations. Cheaper groups of course are a less financial burden but if you only get 2 clients in the 6 months you’ve paid for but could have had 10 at the bigger, more expensive group then it would have been worth the expense.
