When selling your product or service, it is very easy to sit behind a computer and email people the same ‘sales email’. You may get a few replies out of 30 emails but many will just be classed as ‘spam’ and never be read. However good your product is, no matter how well your sales email reads, it could be never seen or even worse, read and classed as junk.
With so many SPAM emails and rubbish being circulated these days, it can be hard to tell what is real and what is not, particularly if they‘ve never heard of your Business before. With online safety being paramount, you can‘t blame people for simply deleting your email.
With this in mind, it is so important to make sure people know you‘re legitimate, real and genuine. The best way to do this is to telephone people and talk to them. Visiting in person is even better but obviously that isn‘t always possible. Be friendly but professional and you‘ll find their trust will develop much faster than it would via email.
We‘re all guilty of using email (even though it is a bit of an easy way out) but if you change just a few of your emails to calls, you will be surprised of the impact it will have.
